Our Head Designer & Creative Director, Guy Bedarida, made a special appearance on Cayman 27 Daybreak, a leading news show in the Cayman Islands. Watch Guy describe what John Hardy does to be a leader in sustainable luxury and how he is inspired to create new designs by the nature that surrounds him in Bali and through his travels.

We were the title sponsor for FilmAid Asia’s movie premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 from the Twilight Saga on Wednesday December 14, 2011. The event took place at AMC Pacific Place with the guest appearance of actor Peter Facinelli, who plays the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Facinelli flew from Los Angeles to Hong Kong to attend this premiere. For the premiere, Facinelli sported some of John Hardy’s prestigious jewelry, including the Naga coil ring and bracelet with white sapphire and the Classic Chain ring with diamond pavé.

In addition to the actor’s visit to Hong Kong, we invited Facinelli to the boutique in The Landmark and gave a welcoming tour of our green office which was awarded Bronze in the category of Large Corporation in the Hong Kong Green Awards 2011.

The White House has appointed Teresita Fernández, first participant of our Artist Residency program and MacArthur Award winning visual artist, to serve on the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, a federal panel that advises the President, Congress and governmental agencies on national matters of design and aesthetics.
